PUEBLO, Colo. – Augustana track & field's Andrew Martens shattered his own school record in the 110-meter hurdles at the NCAA Championships while advancing to the finals in Pueblo, Colorado.
Martens claimed a new personal best and school record in the 110m hurdles clinching a seventh place finish in a time of 13.82. Martens' previous record was 14.03, a time in which he claimed at the NSIC Championships two weekends ago. His seventh place finish grants him a trip to the NCAA Championships finals which takes place Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
Also competing on the national track today for Augustana was Nyanas Kur who saw action in the women's 200-meter dash finishing just .17 of a second short of her personal best and her own school record of 23.59.

Three Vikings will race on the national track across two events finals on Saturday. Martens will open the day of competition for Augustana in the 110m hurdles at 7:05 p.m. while Patty Jo English and Megan Means will close out action at the NCAA Championships in the 5,000m at 8:45 p.m.
