AUSTIN, Texas – Augustana's Aleksandra Kistanova has been recognized on the 2022-23 CSC Division II Academic All-America Second Team, CSC announced Thursday. The honor is the first of Kistanova's career. Kistanova was named to the CSC Academic All-District squad earlier this month which followed her NSIC Elite 18 award at the NSIC Tournament in April.
Kistanova receives this honor with a 4.0 GPA in Economics. During her senior season as a Viking, Kistanova was a member of Augustana's 12th-straight NSIC Tournament title and 13th-straight NSIC regular season championship. Kistanova earned spots on the NSIC Singles First-Team and the NSIC Doubles First-Team finishing her fourth season at Augustana. The Seversk, Russia, native went undefeated in NSIC singles action and saw a 10-1 record in doubles play.

Academic All-America honorees were selected after earning CSC Academic All-District honors in May. The CSC Academic All-America teams include student-athletes who have reached at least sophomore academic and athletic standing at her institution, maintain a 3.50 or higher cumulative grade point average, and at least in his second academic year at the institution (first year transfers are not eligible) while being competing members of the varsity travel squad.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
