KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Augustana men's tennis saw Clayton Poppenga and Meg Siritaworachan named to the MIAA Newcomer Academic Honor Roll the league announced Thursday. 

Clayton Poppenga, hailing from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, earned the accolade following his freshman year where he garnered a 3.43 GPA in finance technology at Augustana. Poppenga ended his freshman campaign with the Vikings with a 7-9 overall singles record and a 6-11 doubles record. 

Meg Siritaworachan, the Bangkok, Thailand, native, finished his junior campaign with a 3.6 GPA in data science at Augustana. Siritaworachan ended his season with a 7-11 singles record in the number two, three, and four position. He finished the 2023 season with a 6-12 doubles record in the number two slot paired with Poppenga and Joseph Plachy.
