SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The final All-America Team for the 2023 baseball season has been announced with Augustana's
Adam Diedrich earning a spot on the NCBWA All-America Second Team.

Diedrich, a sophomore from Brillion, Wisconsin, led NCAA Division II with his 14 saves this season. The First Team All-NSIC and consensus all-region selection threw to a 2.25 ERA while striking out 35 batters in 32 innings pitched.

His 14 saves reset the record book for Augustana in a single season, surpassing the previous record of 10 set in 2011 by Bret Severtson. In his two seasons with AU, Diedrich owns 16 saves while the school record is 24, held by Severtson who played 2008-11.

In addition to his 14 saves, Diedrich also set a school record with 21 games finished in 2023.

Augustana won the NSIC Championship, Central Region Championship and advanced to the NCAA Division II College World Series for the second time in program history.
