SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana's director of track and field and cross country
Tracy Hellman announced the hiring of
Kaleb Lindsey-Stevens as the Vikings' new full-time track and field assistant coach. Lindsey-Stevens joins AU full-time after spending the last two seasons as the Vikings' volunteer assistant coach.
While working as a volunteer assistant coach at AU, Lindsey-Stevens helped plan, schedule, and coach practice to help develop student athletes.
Lindsey-Stevens, a native of Buffalo, Minn., spent five seasons as the head boys track coach at Mankato West High School. In his time with Mankato West, he managed all coaching staff and athletes, program and individual athlete development, planned and implemented practice across teams, and handled logistics for travel.
Not shy to the Sioux Falls area, Lindsey-Stevens graduated from the University of Sioux Falls with a bachelors of social work. In his time at USF, he was named a team captain and was honored with the Purple Feather Award for outstanding leadership and culture for service.
