BURNSVILLE, Minn. – After qualifying for the NCAA Division II swimming & diving championships, Augustana's Avery Lommel was named the NSIC Diver of the Week. The honor is the second of the year for the freshman.
 
Avery Lommel (Diver, Fr., Delano, Minn. / Delano HS) - Augustana
- Scored a school record 422.45 points on the 3-meter 11 dive
- Officially qualify for NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships
- Also won the 1M with 412 points on 11 dives
- The 412 points are an NCAA qualifying point mark on 11 dives
- Named NSIC Diver of the Week for the second time this season (10/24/23)
 
The Vikings are back in action for the NSIC Championships slated to take place Feb. 14-17. The championships take place at the Midco Aquatics Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
