SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-  Augustana head baseball coach Tim Huber has announced the signing of Myles Hanson as an addition to the 2025 signing class.

Huber on Hanson: "Myles got on our radar late this fall. What we initially saw, in terms of his skillset on the mound, was really intriguing. After doing some additional digging we quickly realized he was an awesome academic fit for Augustana. Talking more with his coaches reiterated our feeling that he is the type of guy we want to be part of our program. We see a really high upside for him in terms of stuff and velocity. Myles has a good frame, is already a good sized guy and will only continue to fill out. If he gains confidence and consistently is in the strike zone, he has a chance to be a difference maker early on in our program. "

High School: Hanson will graduate from Elk River High School in June of 2024. He was a starter and letterwinner as a junior while leading the Elks to the Section 8AAAA semifinal. Hanson spent last summer with the Minnesota Icemen club baseball organization.

He joins Kobe Eikmeier, Reid Hartmann, Carter Heinsch, Bjorn Lind, Caden Oberbroekling, Josiah Petersen, Cal Schmelzle, and Nate Soelter in this year's signing class. For more on them, Click here.
