SIOUX FALLS, S.D.- Augustana wrestling travels to Cedar Falls, Iowa, this weekend to tackle the NWCA/USMC Multi-Division National Dual Meet Championships. The Vikings open the weekend with UIndy, with the match set to begin at 2 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 5.

AU is one of 16 teams from NCAA DII that will be participating in the tournament, and one of four teams from the NSIC competing. They are joined by St. Cloud State, UMary, and Northern State.

Complete action can be followed on GoAugie.com/Live and the GoAugie app, presented by The Original Pancake House. The app can be downloaded in the App Store or Google Play.

Four Vikings were individually ranked in the latest NWCA rankings. Jaxson Rohman continues to hold a grasp at the top spot at 125 pounds. Hunter Burnett continues to hold a spot at 141 pounds, slotting in at No. 11. Cael Larson makes his debut in the 149 rankings, ranking No. 10, and Cade Mueller is now ranked No. 7 at 184 pounds. As a team, Augustana ranks No. 17.

The Vikings hold a record of 3-3 overall and 1-1 in NSIC action. Augustana was last on the mat on Dec. 15, dropping a 25-17 home dual to No. 7-ranked Nebraska Kearney. The Vikings navigated through one of the toughest schedules in the country, as all four DII duals have come against top 20 opponents.
