10/10/2024 4:30:00 PM

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – In anticipation of year two in the on-campus home of Augustana hockey, parking and drop-off lanes have been identified by Augustana University for Midco Arena. As fans make their way to Midco Arena, doors open 60 minutes before puck drop.

Season tickets and single-game tickets for this weekend's game and the entire Augustana hockey season are still on sale. Tickets can be purchased at GoAugie.com/Tickets.

Gameday Promotions
Augustana hockey will have a handful of promotions on home ice during its opening weekend. Friday's game will include an LED bracelet giveaway and the national anthem will be performed by Dr. Brian Hangan on the saxophone.

Saturday's game will be youth hockey night and Augustana invites people to skate with the Vikings post-game (equipment not provided, helmets required). Dr. Russel Svenningsen will perform the national anthem.

Public Parking
Parking lots will open three hours before puck drop with the Elmen Center Lot serving as the main lot for the general public. There is a $10 (cash only) fee to park in the lot. All A-Club members at the Gold level and above received a parking pass for the lot.

Plentiful free parking is available on Augustana's campus including the parking lot on the west side of Kirkeby-Over Stadium. Additional free parking is available on Grange Avenue, Lake Street, Prairie Avenue and 37th Street.

Midco Arena VIP Parking
On the east side of Midco Arena, a VIP lot is reserved for those with corresponding passes. Any available spaces that remain on game night will be sold for $20 (cash only) per spot.

Drop-Off
For convenient access to Midco Arena, fans will have two drop-off lanes available including directly in front of the main entrance of Midco Arena on the west side of the building. For fans going north on Grange Avenue, after turning off 37th street, the drop-off lane is on the right-hand side of the road, just steps from the front doors. For fans driving south on Grange Avenue from 33rd street, the drop-off lane is the semi-circle in front of the Elmen Center.

Bag Policy
As a reminder to fans, a clear bag policy will still be in effect at Midco Arena. Backpacks, large purses, duffle bags, artificial noise makers, weapons, outside food and beverage, fireworks, cameras, pets, balloons and beach balls are all prohibited. Additionally, Fanny packs and smaller non-clear bags are also prohibited in 2024-25.

Foot Traffic from Campus
Students and fans are encouraged to use crosswalks at the intersections of 33rd Street and Grange or 33rd Street and Prairie Avenue.
