NEW ORLEANS – Augustana's Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Tracy Hellman and Viking senior Ryan Hartman have each received USTFCCCA regional honors, officials announced Thursday afternoon. 

Hellman was named Central Region Coach of the Year for women's cross country for the fifth time in his career, making it his 15th Region Coach of the Year honor overall. 

In his 25th year as head coach at Augustana, Hellman led the Vikings to the women's team title at the Central Region Championships with 82 points while sweeping the podium and winning both team titles at the NSIC Championships. 

Hartman was named Central Region's men's athlete of the year for the first time in his career. 

Hartman won the individual title at the Central Region Championships in 30:08.0. Earlier in the season, Hartman also took top individual honors at the NSIC Championships in 23:49.4, the Lewis Crossover in 23:38.5, and the Roy Griak Invitational in 25:16.1.
