SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The No. 14 Augustana wrestling team takes the mat for one final regular season dual, hosting St. Cloud State on Friday night at 7 p.m., inside the Elmen Center. With a victory, the Vikings would earn a share of the NSIC title. 

Friday will also serve as senior night. John Babineau, Hunter Burnett, Edward Hajas, Jack Huffman, Zach Peterson, Danny Reynolds, and Tyler Wagener will all be honored prior to the match during the senior day presentation.

The Huskies are 12-1 overall and a perfect 7-0 in the NSIC after knocking off Parkside last weekend. SCSU is ranked fifth in the latest NWCA team poll and are 6-1 on the year against ranked opponents. 

They have seven individuals ranked at their respective weight classes. Nik Novak is the top-ranked 157 pounder, Dominic Murphy is No. 4 at 197, Conor Knopick is ranked No. 7 at 125, Colby Njos is No. 7 at 149, Anthony Hererra is No. 10 at 165, Bryce Fitzpatrick is No. 10 at 184, and Alyeus Craig is No. 12 at 141.

The Vikings are now up to 13-5 overall and 7-1 in the NSIC after a split against Augsburg and Minnesota State last week. The Vikings stand at No. 14 in the NWCA team rankings while getting five into the individual rankings. 

Jaxson Rohman slots in as the No. 2-ranked 125 pounder and Cade Mueller jumped to No. 4 at 184 pounds. The Vikings have three ranked at No. 11 in their respective weight classes, as Hunter Burnett (141), Cael Larson (149), and Max Ramberg (197) each find themselves in the top-12. 

The season has become historic for the Vikings, who have earned eight ranked victories. Their 13 dual wins is tied for fifth in program history. Max Ramberg is second in the country and tied for second in Viking history with 11 tech falls on the year, two away from breaking a 38-year old school record. Also tied for second in program history is Rohman, who has recorded eight major victories on the season. 

Six probables ride into the weekend with win streaks in dual action. Christian Olsen, Larson, and Tyler Wagener have each won three consecutive matches. Connor Simmonds has won four in a row after a win against Minnesota State. Burnett has won five in a row and is 9-1 on the season. Ramberg has won seven in a row and leads the team with 13 dual wins.
