SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The No. 14 Augustana wrestling team (13-6 overall, 7-2 NSIC) closed its dual season on Friday night, falling 29-3 to No. 5 St. Cloud State (13-1, 8-0) at the Elmen Center.
In his final bout inside the Elmen Center,
Hunter Burnett got the Vikings on the board at 141 pounds. The senior from Pipestone, Minn., carried a 3-2 lead into the second period with a takedown. With the score tied 3-3 into the third, Burnett collected an escape and takedown to fire up the Viking crowd and bring the Vikings within 9-3.
