SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Augustana wrestling head coach Jason Reitmeier announced the addition of Bentley Williams to the 2024 signing class on Tuesday. Williams will enroll in the fall of 2024.

Reitmeier on Williams: "We are super excited to keep Bentley in Sioux Falls.  Through camps, clubs and our RTC, Bentley has had a lot of exposure to Augustana wrestling and us to Bentley.  Bentley had a really solid senior year which finished with a state title.  Bentley is an athletic kid with a ton of potential.  We are excited to add Bentley and his family to our Augustana family."

High School: Williams will graduate from Lincoln High School in May. He touts a career 178-72 record with 280 takedowns, 284 match points, and 72 wins by fall. He was a state champion at 132 pounds as a senior, leading his team to a top-10 finish at state. He is a four-time state qualifier, including eighth place finishes at 126 pounds as a sophomore and a junior. 

Personal: Bentley is the son of Sarah Chase and Gabriel Williams. He has six siblings and enjoys wrestling. While at Augustana, he plans to major in computer and data science.
