AZUZA PACIFIC, Calif. – Augustana men's and women's track and field finished off its final day of invitationals with day three of the Bryan Clay Invitational and the one-day USD Challenge.
Ryan Hartman shattered the previous school record in the men's 5,000-meter run with a time of 13:49.73.
Bryan Clay Invitational
Hartman raced in the men's 5,000-meter run Friday night and finished with a new school record time and NCAA Qualifying time of 13:49.73. Hartman followed up his performance with a Saturday night time of 3:47.78 in the men's 1500-meter run.
Caroline Sudbeck put together an impressive time of 4:34.03 in women's 1500-meter run Saturday night as she edged out competition from LSU, Idaho and Boston University.
Maia Peterson propelled herself to the finish line in the women's 400m dash and finished with a time of 57.13.

Nyanas Kur and Peterson hit a new season best in the women's 4x400 relay with a time of 3:50.10. The Vikings' time now sits as the best in the NSIC.
La Verne Leopard Distance Carnival
Ella Bakken shattered a stadium record on Friday night with a time of 35:23.84 in the women's 10,000-meter and garnered first place. Bakken's time set an NCAA Provisional and personal best.
USD Challenge
Andrew Martens hurdled to a first-place finish in the men's 110m hurdles with a time of 13.84. Joining Mertens on the podium with a top-tier finish of his own was Ben Haberman who ran to a time of 9:42.13 in the men's 3,000-meter steeple.
Bryn Greenwaldt recorded a mark of 1.47m in the women's high jump and now sits sixth all-time in Augustana history.
Lily Juhnke found herself a third-place finish in the women's 110m as she finished with a time of 12.01.
Colten Brand propelled himself to a second-place finish in the men's 1500m with a time of 3:55.37.
Caden Tegethoff followed behind with a time of 9:57.73.
Jayda Becker launched herself to a second-place finish in the women's long jump with an impressive mark of 5.62m.
Both Vikings' 4x100m relay teams garnered third-place finishes on the day. The men's team of

Kaja Salemonsen leaped to a second-place finish in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.07m.
Tyler Sellin recorded a new personal record in the men's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.88. Two more Vikings recorded big personal records as L. Berends finished the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 10.74 and Sammy Sundbi jumped to a mark of 11.63m in the women's triple jump.
