MANHEIM, Penn. - The Augustana wrestling team has earned the 13th-best team GPA in the nation at 3.291 and NWCA Division II Scholar All-America honors.
In addition to team honors, the Vikings also had seven wrestlers earn individual Scholar All-America honors.Â

In order for a student-athlete to be nominated to the Division II Scholar All-American Team, he must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, with that benchmark at 3.25 for those who qualified for the 2024 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships and a 3.0 for those who were All-Americans at the 2024 Nationals. Wrestlers must have competed in four dates of competition.
The University of Indianapolis tops the team ranking with a GPA of 3.480, with Lake Erie College close behind with a 3.466. Colorado Mesa (3.439), Minnesota State (3.438), and Wisconsin-Parkside (3.436) round out the top five teams.Â
On the individual side, a total of 363 individuals from 61 institutions were honored as Scholar All-American. This marks the most institutions and individuals honored in the history of the award. A total of 39 student-athletes honored had perfect 4.0 GPAs.
