SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana men's golf finished its Spring Invitational as two different groups squared off against five different schools.
Will Allen continued his strong season as he tied for first place at even par. After six tie-break holes, the decision was made to call it a tie. As a team, the Vikings placed runner-up with the 'A' team and seventh with the 'B' team.

How it Happened
- Augustana's "A" group of Allen, Jacob Stewart, Emmet Hansen, Spencer Wittstruck and Cullen Johnson shot a combined group score of 609.
- The "A" group led the invitational on Pars with a total of 100
- Allen had the best average stroke count of 4.10 on par-4s
- Hansen has a scratch of -5 on Par'5s with an average stroke of 4.38. Hansen followed up his strong performance with one eagle on the invite.
- Augustana's "B" group of Chase McDonald, Blake Northagen, Jordan Slagle, Zach Stanz and Jimmy Mendel combined for a score of 651.
- McDonald led the "B" group with a score of 159 after shooting rounds of 78 and 81.
- Both groups combined for 29 birdies and 179 pars.
