INDIANAPOLIS — Four Vikings from Augustana track and field have qualified for the NCAA Championships held in Emporia, Kansas on May 23-25.

Andrew Martens, Ryan Hartman, Kaja Salemonsen and Bryn Greenwaldt qualified after putting up impressive marks this Spring. 

NSIC Champions, Martens will race in the 110m hurdles after hitting a season-best time of 13.56 at the 114th Drake Relays on April, 24.

Hartman blazed to a 5000m time of 13:49.73 in the 2024 Bryn Clay Invitational on to secure his spot. Hartman won two NSIC Championships last weekend in the 1500m and 5000m. 

Two-sport athlete Greenwaldt leaped to an impressive mark of 1.74m in the women's high jump during the USD Challenge on April 13. She is currently sixth in program history with her mark.

Fresh off breaking a new school record during the NSIC Championships, Salemonsen secured a spot in the NCAA championships with a mark of 12.85m in the women's triple jump. She was named NSIC All-Conference in the event.
