EMPORIA, Kan. –
Andrew Martens of Augustana track and field advanced to Saturday's 110m hurdles after a second-best time in Friday's preliminaries.
Kaja Salemonsen finished 20th in the triple jump with a mark of 11.92m on day two of the NCAA DII National Championships held on Emporia State's campus.
Martens dashed to a second-place time of 13.66 in Friday's 110m hurdle preliminaries and advanced to Saturday's final for the second time in his career. He took part in heat one of the event and finished second to Parker Wormek from lane four. Marten's time was faster than any runner from heat two and three.
Salemonsen took part in the women's triple jump, Friday night. She landed with a mark of 11.92m on her third attempt.
