NEW ORLEANS – Augustana University's men's and women's track and field teams—as well as 12 individual student athletes—were recognized with USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, officials announced Monday, July 15.
 
To qualify for team honors, the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution's indoor and outdoor teams must be a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The men earned their 13^th team recognition with a GPA of 3.48 while the women came in with a GPA of 3.63 for their 16^th team honor.
 
For individual recognition, student-athletes must hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25. Three men and nine women from the Vikings track and field roster were honored with this academic achievement.
