KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Augustana men's tennis team was picked to finish sixth in the MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll, announced by the conference Friday morning.
Augustana men's tennis comes into the 2025 season after a 6-10 2024 season. The Vikings garnered 13 points in the North Division. With the addition of the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, the MIAA is now an 11-team men's tennis conference split into two divisions – North and South. The institutions competing in the North Division include Augustana, Emporia State, Nebraska Kearney, Newman, Northwest Missouri and Washburn. The South Division's institutions are Arkansas-Fort Smith, Harding, Ouachita, Southeastern Oklahoma State and Southern Arkansas.
The Vikings serve up the season next week as they head to St. Joseph, Mo. to face William Jewell on Saturday, Feb. 2.
