About the Rams
North Central is 3-5 to open the season and will have the game go down as an exhibition for them. They were picked to finish sixth in the UMAC Preseason Poll. Brycelyn Brewster averages 13.8 points and 2.5 steals per game while NiNi Davenport scores 13.0 points per game and has knocked down a season-high 22 3-pointers. 

Last Time Out
After erasing a 16-point second-half deficit, the Vikings dropped a heartbreaker, 78-76, in double overtime at unbeaten Wayne State on Tuesday night at Rice Auditorium.

The Vikings shot 42.2% from the field and owned advantages in the paint (34-26) and second-chance points (24-11), yet 29 turnovers proved costly as Wayne State turned those miscues into a 30-10 edge in points off turnovers.

Isabella Sanneh paced Augustana with 19 points and a career-high 18 rebounds in 42 minutes. Payton Hardy posted a double-double of her own with 15 points and 13 boards while Maliyah Elliott finished with 14 points on a pair of 3-pointers and eight assists. Miranda Lomax chipped in key late baskets, including a layup in the closing second of the second overtime to pull the Vikings within two.

About the Vikings
Augustana has opened the season 2-3 after dropping Tuesday's double overtime game. Of their four losses, two have come in overtime. 

 Isabella Sanneh leads the team with 15.6 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game. Payton Hardy is right behind her with 13.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per game while shooting 46.9 percent from the field. 

Maliyah Elliott has been a spark plug among the newcomers, scoring 9.4 points per game. Another newcomer having success beyond the arc is Kristin Edmonds, knocking down 11 of 21 from long range and averaging 7.0 points per game. 

A freshman turning heads is Addie Hanna. Making a pair of appearances off the bench and three starts, Hanna has scored 6.4 points per game while going 13 of 15 from the free-throw line. Joining Hanna among true freshman contributors is Clarissa Sauer, who is scoring 6.0 points and grabbing 4.8 rebounds per game.
