SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana women's swimming & diving team is joined by David Binsfeld as they open the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships Tuesday in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Vikings, ranked No. 19 in the latest CSCAA poll, have two individual swimmers, two women's divers, a male diver and four relays in Indiana for competition.

Action gets underway each day with prelims at 9 a.m. and finals at 4:30 p.m. Complete action can be followed on GoAugie.com/Live and the GoAugie app, presented by The Original Pancake House. The app can be downloaded in the App Store or Google Play.

Bryn Greenwaldt has qualified for three individual events while Nesrine Jelliti will also compete in three events. Avery Lommel will have some company in the diving pre-qualification event taking place Tuesday. Kate Robbins and David Binsfeld each earned their first career qualifications and will also dive on Tuesday.

Greenwaldt is back at the national meet after a stellar sophomore campaign saw her finish as the national runner-up in both the 50 and 100 free. She also earned individual All-America honors in the 100 back and was an All-American in the 200 free, 200 medley, 400 free and 400 medley relays.

Jelliti, a senior, is seeded 14th in the 100 breaststroke and will also compete in the 200 breast and the 50 free. She is a four-time All-American, three in relays and one in the 100 breast after a 10th place finish in 2024.

The four relay teams in the meet are the 200 medley, 400 medley, 200 free and 400 free. The 200 medley relay consists of Bryn Greenwaldt, Nesrine Jelliti, Angelina Chan and Makoa Montgomery while holding the nation's sixth-fastest time.

Chan, Makoa Montgomery, Meesha Montgomery and Sofia Hein will make appearances throughout the weekend in the relays.

Lommel, the first-ever diver to enter the national scene for Augustana, enters with the highest point total in the country in the 1m, cashing in 456.45 points at the SMSU Quad. Kate Robbins is fifth with 415.90 at the same competition. Both divers are inside the top 30 for the 3m dive with 247.73 and 235.95 points, respectively.

David Binsfeld is the second male to participate in the NCAA Championships for Augustana and enters with the second highest point total in the 1m. He holds a total of 474.55 points while also ranking 10th in the 3m dive with 431.90 points.
