7/9/2025 2:25:00 PM

AUSTIN, Texas – Following a dominant career and stunning senior season with Augustana wrestling, Jaxson Rohman has been honored by the College Sports Communicators on the Division II Academic All-America At-Large First Team, officials announced Wednesday.

Rohman recently obtained his degree in nursing while maintaining a cumulative 3.68 grade point average. He becomes the second Viking in program history to earn back-to-back CoSIDA/CSC Academic All-America recognitions, as he collected third team honors a season ago.

A native of Trimont, Minnesota, Rohman earned his fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA DII National Championships in the 2024-25 season and finished third in the country with All-America honors at 125 pounds. He also earned the elite distinction as the 2025 Gorriaran Award winner, which is presented to the wrestler with the most falls in the least amount of time at the NCAA championships.

In addition to his postseason success, Rohman secured NWCA Scholar All-America, CSC At-Large Academic All-District and All-NSIC First Team honors.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's At-Large Teams, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. Honorees selected as first-team Academic All-District® advanced to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot.
