BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Isabella Sanneh was named to the NSIC women's basketball All-NSIC Second Team, league officials announced Thursday.
 
The sophomore from Woodbury, Minnesota, secures her first career NSIC honor after leading the Vikings in scoring at 14.8 points per game and leading the NSIC with 9.7 rebounds while adding 2.2 assists and 1.5 steals per game. She scored double figures on 21 occasions with an incredible 15 double doubles, the ninth most in the country, and six 20-point games.
 
Sanneh had a career day against Upper Iowa on Nov. 22, scoring 29 points and grabbing 18 rebounds in a road win against the Peacocks. In the nine Viking wins this season, Sanneh dominated, averaging 17.9 points and 12.2 rebounds per game. In total, she scored 399 points this season with 262 rebounds and 40 steals. She shot 48.1 percent from the floor and was 8 of 19 from beyond the arc.
