#2 Trey Heid (QB, 6-2, 188, RFr., Lakeville, Minn./North HS) had a breakout game in Augustana’s 35-6 homecoming win over Upper Iowa on Saturday. The redshirt freshman quarterback had a hand in four of Augustana’s five touchdowns, throwing for a career-high three and rushing for one. Heid finished the game 13 of 22 passing with no interceptions and a career-high 232 yards. He also led the team in rushing with 43 yards on 11 attempts, including a 25-yard scamper and a touchdown. Heid completed four passes of 36-plus yards, including a 49-yard connection and a career-high 52-yard pass.
