Jayd Docken (197 pounds, unattached) finished second-place at the Holiday Inn Open hosted by the University of Nerbraska- Kearney. Docken, competing unattached, won in a 5-3 decision over Parker Hines of Air Force, followed by a 4-0 decision over Devan Fors of Chadron State. Docken headed into the semifinals where he wrestled against Sam Mangum of Western State Colorado where he won in a 3-2 decision to head into the Championship bout. Docken finished in second-place after a medical forfeit to Spencer Johnson of Nebraska.
