Kornelia Staniszewska is a freshman from Opalenie, Poland. This past weekend Staniszewska defeated No. 6 Maria Josie Zehnder from Southwest Baptist 6-3, 4-6, 7-6 on Saturday. Staniszewska teamed with Jessa Richards at No. 1 doubles and defeated Christina Zentai and Lara Soares from Southwest Baptist 8-3. On Sunday Staniszewska won against Lorena Rivas Jarolim from Northwest Missouri State 6-0, 6-0. She teamed up with Richards again and defeated Jarolim and Kaja Emersic 8-3. Staniszewska improved to 6-0 on the year in singles.
