Kris Ashland is a 6-5 senior on the Augustana Baseball team and is from Bloomington, Minn. Ashland had a career weekend for the Vikings against U-Mary, Leading the team to their first series sweep of the season. In the 4-game series Ashland hit .500 with seven hits in 14 at-bats. He posted a career-high five RBIs in game one against U-Mary, which included a career-best two home runs. On the weekend he blasted four total home runs. Ashland drove in nine runs and had two doubles. He had a 1.500 slugging percentage and a .533 on-base percentage. In all four games for the Vikings Ashland never hit below .500.
