Women's basketball set to open 2015 on the road at USF and SMSU

Storylines and history
• Augustana opens the 2015 portion of its schedule on the road for two Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchups this upcoming weekend.
• The Vikings kick off the trip with a meeting with rival Sioux Falls on Friday at the Stewart Center.
• Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
• This will be the fourth meeting between the two teams as DII foes, 32nd all time.
• This game is part of the First Dakota National Bank Mayor's Cup Challenge between the two schools.
• Augustana holds a 27-4 lead in the all-time series between the two teams, 3-1 with both being NSIC foes.
• The Cougars won the last meeting between the two squads, a 84-72 win on Jan. 14, 2014 at the Elmen Center.
• On Saturday, the Vikings travel to Marshall, Minn. for a game against Southwest Minnesota State.
