About Augustana
• The Vikings head back on the road following a sweep last weekend over Minnesota Crookston (87-79) and Bemidji State (86-61). Augustana enters the stretch run in the NSIC with just four regular season games left before the NSIC Tournament begins on Feb. 22
• With just two weeks left in the regular season, there is a log jam in the NSIC South and Overall standings. Augustana is in a tie for third-place in the NSIC South Standings with Concordia-St. Paul but only two games separate first place (USF and Winona State) from fifth-place (Wayne State). The overall standings are just as crowded at the top of the south standings. MSU Moorhead has the best record in the conference at 16-2 but teams from second-place to seventh-place are only separated by three games
• Augustana has been the best offensive team in the NSIC this season by a wide margin. The Vikings scoring offense is averaging a league-best 77.3 points per game during the conference season. The closest team to the Vikings in offensive production is MSU Moorhead who is averaging 71.9 ppg. The Vikings offense is also one of the best nationally. They are ranked 21st out of 308 Division II teams in scoring average this season
• Two Vikings are ranked in the top 30 for scoring in the NSIC. Logan has the 25th best scoring average at 12.2 and Naomi Rust follows closely behind with an average of 11.9 ppg in conference play. Logan ranks 14th in rebounding in conference play at 7.2 boards per game. Sydney Rome is averaging 1.8 three's pre-game which is the 10th most in NSIC play. Augustana has three players ranked in the top 17 for assists per game average this season. Rome ranks 13th (3.4 ast), Lynsey Prosser ranks 15th (3.2 ast) and Logan ranks 17th (3.0 ast)

In a Grove
Augustana sophomore forward Shelby Selland has been in grove over the past four games. Since the Vikings 77-63 win over Minnesota Duluth back on Jan. 27, Selland is averaging a team-best 13.5 points per game and eight rebounds per game. Selland recorded her first career double-double (14-points and 11 rebounds) against St. Cloud State on Jan. 28 while setting a season-high in scoring a week later with 16-points against Minnesota Crookston. Selland was 1-point away from tying her career-high. During this 4-game stretch, Selland is shooting 63 percent from the field and 25 percent from behind the arc. She has also tallied 12 assists, five blocks, and a steal.

Moving up the Charts
Senior guard Sydney Rome continues to climb up the chart for most career 3-point field goals made. In her 109 game career to date, the senior has made 183 career triples. She is currently tied for sixth on the list and needs just 12 three's to pass Alison Adamson for fifth on the list. The best mark in program history is Julie Krauth who made 230 triples in just 100 career games.
