SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Following a conference-opening win last Saturday, the No. 24 Augustana women's basketball team will now hit the road for the first conference road trip of the season season. The Vikings (8-1, 1-0 NSIC) will take on Winona State at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, before traveling to Fayette, Ia. to take on Upper Iowa on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Fans not in attendance of this weekends road games can watch live stats and video at

The Vikings have started out the first part of the season hot, winning eight games and only dropping one. Their one loss came to no. 15 Central Oklahoma, 59-55, during the Puerto Rico Classic.
In the Vikings most recent win over Wayne State, the Vikings tabbed five double-digit scorers led by
Lynsey Prosser. She dropped 15 points, grabbed four steals, and dished out four assists. Not far behind Prosser was
Shelby Selland, the senior racked up 14 points in 31 minutes of action, going 6 of 13 from the field. Rounding out the double-digit scorers were
Abby Hora (12),
Hana Metoxen (10) and
Vishe' Rabb (12).
Coming into their tenth game of the season the Vikings are led by
Abby Hora. The junior averages 12.2 points per contest. Selland, a fellow senior leader, is tied for leading scorer for the Vikings at 12.2 points per game. Selland leads The team in rebounds per game at seven. Overall, Augustana leads the conference in points per game at 84.7.
Scouting Winona State:
The Vikings are 26-10 all-time when facing the Warriors of Winona State. Most recently, Augustana's last win came on Feb. 27, 2018 where the Vikings upset the Warriors, 64-45.
The  Warriors are 3-2 (1-0 NSIC)  this season. Leading the way for the Warriors is Allie Pickrain, a sophomore from Apple Valley, Minn. The sophomore has started in all five contests for the Warriors averaging 13.2 points per contest. Pickrain shoots 35.3 percent from the field on 24 of 68 attempts.
Scouting Upper Iowa:
The Vikings take on the Peacocks of Upper Iowa on Saturday in the second game of the weekend road trip. The Peacocks come into Saturday's game at 3-5 (0-1NSIC), with their three wins coming over Emmaus Bible (91-74), Universidad Sagrado Corazon (65-55), and UPR Rio Piedras (63-54).
Leading the Peacocks is Natalie Dinius, she is coming into the weekend dropping 10.3 points per game. Bekka Pierson also averages nearly 10 points, and overall the team comes into the weekend averaging 58.2 points a game.
