SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Augustana women's basketball team welcomes an addition to its 2026-27 roster. Bria Stenstrom has signed her national letter of intent to play for the Vikings in 2026-27.

Vogel on Stenstrom: "Bria is a lightning quick guard that shoots the 3 extremely well. She rebounds her position well and elevates our team defensively with the way she guards. Her experience in the NSIC will be valuable. Bria makes our team better instantly!"

Previous School: Stenstrom played in 51 games over two seasons for the Warriors. The Academic All-NSIC honoree scored a total of 117 points while dishing 17 assists and collecting 12 steals over two years. As a sophomore, Stenstrom played her best at the end of the season, scoring 14 in WSU's regular-season finale against St. Cloud State before pouring in 11 points in the NSIC Tournament opener against Minot State. 

High School: Stenstrom graduated from Mounds View High School where she was a National Honors Society member and earned a Certificate of Academic Excellence from 2020-2024. She was also a two-time captain and team MVP from 2021-2024. Stenstrom was a four-time All-Conference honoree and all-state honorable mention while scoring 1,000 career points.

Personal: Bria is the daughter of Jason and Dawn Stenstrom. She plans to major in business administration while at Augustana.
