BURNSVILLE, MINN -- The 2018 NSIC / Sanford Health Women's Basketball Tournament bracket has been released and the Augustana Vikings, who are the 2017-18 regular season NSIC Champions, occupy the No. 1 seed in the South Division.

Northern State, MSU Moorhead and Augustana are NSIC Overall Tri-Champions as each team finished at 19-3 in NSIC play.

It's the first time Augustana (23-3, 19-3 NSIC) has won the NSIC regular season championship and the second consecutive season the Vikings have won the NSIC's south division.

As the No. 1 seed in the south, Augie hosts the No. 8 seed in the north, Bemidji State, Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. inside the Elmen Center. The winner will take on the winner of the Minnesota Duluth / Minnesota State matchup in the quarterfinals Sunday, Feb. 25 at 5:30 p.m. from the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls.

The quarterfinals, semifinals and championship will take place on February 25-27 at the Sanford Pentagon and all rounds of the NSIC / Sanford Health Women's Basketball Tournament played at the Sanford Pentagon will air live on MicdoSN and streamed for free via Stretch Internet.
