SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Coming off a weekend sweep over Upper Iowa and Winona State, the Augustana women's basketball team now hits the road to continue NSIC North play. On Friday, the Vikings square up with Northern State (8-8, 5-5 NSIC North) at 5:30 p.m., and on Saturday take on the undefeated MSU Moorhead (14-2, 10-0) Dragons at 3:30 p.m.

Nearly midway through the season, the Vikings still remain No. 1 in the NSIC South Division with an 8-2 record (16-3 overall). Statistically, Augustana leads the league in a number of major categories, including scoring (80.8), three-point field goals made (187), rebounding (43.7/game), assists (17.05), and steals (10.9/game). Augustana also ranks first nationally in rebounds with 858 total boards.
Individually, the Vikings
Lynsey Prosser leads the program with 12.6 points per game, while
Camryn Hay leads grabbing 3.6 boards per game.
Vishe' Rabb has shown her skill set as of late, scoring more than 15 points per game over the last six outings.
Scouting Northern State:
Northern State comes into the weekend with an 8-8 (5-5 NSIC) record, and are led by Brianna Kusler who averages 12.2 points per game.
Augustana leads Northern State 27-18 all-time, with their last meeting happening on Mar. 10, 2018 when the Vikings walked away with a 90-86 overtime win. The win improved the Vikings to 29-3 overall and also marked the most wins for an Augustana team in a single season. Scouting MSU Moorhead:
One of the surprises of the NSIC, MSU Moorhead is the last undefeated team in the league at 10-0. The Dragons, who are on a 12 game win streak, are led by Kiley Borowicz with 13.4 points per game.
All-time, Augustana leads 16-9 over the Dragons of MSU Moorhead. The last time the two sides squared up, the Vikings dropped the game, 75-64. The Vikings shot just 36 percent from the field and scored 64 points in the loss.
