SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- With one race left before the conference championship, the Augustana men's and women's cross country teams are ready to roll in their final regular-season meet this weekend. Both the men and women will compete in the Lewis Crossover this Saturday, running in Romeoville, Illinois, on the Lewis Cross Country Course.
Hosted by Lewis (IL) University, the fifth annual meet gets underway with the women's 6K race at 10 a.m. and will be followed by the men's 8K race at 10:45 a.m. Live results for the race are available

Known as the largest Division II-only meet in the country, this year's field features 72 teams (38 women, 34 men) and includes 17 nationally ranked teams in the latest USTFCCCA rankings. The Augustana men recently checked in 6th in the poll, with the women in 5th.
Of the eight regions that make up Division II, six will be represented this weekend. The field includes defending men's and women's national champions in Grand Valley State (MI).
Also this weekend, select student-athletes will also compete in the Dordt Holiday Inn Express Invitational in Sioux Center, Iowa.Â
The Vikings are coming off a strong performance at the Roy Griak Invite, where both the men's and women's programs took home team titles. The men earned their fourth consecutive Griak title and the women's made history with 36 total points, the lowest ever in the DII race.Â
Following this weekend's meet, Augustana competes in the NSIC Championships on Oct. 26 in Wayne, Nebraska.Â
