BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- After a pair of first-place finishes at the Midwest Shootout, Augustana swimmer Destini Oehlertz is the NSIC Swimmer of the Week the league office announced on Tuesday. 

Oehlertz is the Vikings first-ever NSIC Swimmer of the Week. The senior took top honors in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:57.17 and the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 59.44. Both times were the tops in the NSIC this past week.

Oehlertz was apart of two relays over the weekend. The 200-yard freestyle team placed third with a time of 1:41.38 and the 400-yard freestyle relay team placed third with a time of 3:42.17.

The Vikings will host a dual against UMary on Saturday inside the Elmen Center at 10 a.m.
