SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Augustana swim team made the trek to the Midco Aquatic Center to compete in the USF Quad Dual on Friday and Saturday. The Vikings came away with a 219-133 victory over MSU Moorhead before falling to Minnesota State and Sioux Falls. 

Starting things off for the Vikings was the 400-yard medley relay in which the Augie 'A' team placed third with a time of 4:01.00. The team consisted of Destini Oehlertz, Micah Hudlet, Linzie Kreizel and Emma Miller. 

Taylor Beagle took home the top honors in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:30.51 while Oehlertz placed third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.81. Miller swam a time of 5:14.05 in the 500-yard freestyle to place third and Kelsey Gilbert placed fifth with a time of 5:19.69. 

Three Vikings placed in the top-four in the 400-yard IM in Beagle, Gilbert and Ruth Huffman. Beagle placed second with a time of 4:39.90, Gilbert placed third with a time of 4:45.60 and Huffman placed fourth with a time of 4:45.84.

Hudlet swam in the 100-yard breaststroke and placed third with a time of 1:07.88 while Huffman swam a time of 2:14.14 in the 200-yard butterfly to place third. Oehlertz took home another top-three finish with a 24.20 time in the 50-yard freestyle. 

The 400-yard freestyle relay team capped things off with a fourth-place finish and a time of 3:38.05.
