SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana women's basketball team will make its first public appearance this season with an exhibition game against Minnesota-Morris on Monday at 7 p.m. The game, which is taking place inside the Elmen Center, is free for all fans.
The Vikings enter the 2019-20 season with all but three seniors from last year's team that went 22-11 and 13-9 in conference action. David Krauth returns for his 31st season at the helm of the Vikings and has a 628-269 record at Augustana.
Vishe' Rabb is the reigning NSIC Freshman of the Year after averaging 10.7 points per game and 1.45 steals per game. She shot at a 46 percent clip and 33 percent from deep last season.
Minnesota-Morris's returning leading scorer is Abby Van Kempen with 13.2 points per game on 52 percent shooting from the field. The senior was named an honorable mention all-conference and started all 26 games for the Cougars in the 2018-19 season.
Monday's contest will not have a video stream. The only way to view the game is by being inside the Elmen Center for free.
