MANHEIM, PA. -- The Augustana wrestling team was named the No. 14 team in the NWCA Division II Dual Rankings announced on Monday. The Vikings are one of five NSIC teams to be included in the top 25 of the Dual Rankings. St. Cloud State headlines the rankings at No. 1, followed by Minnesota State at No. 10, Upper Iowa at No. 15, and Northern State at No. 25. 

The individual rankings also showed a pair of Augustana wrestlers in their respective weight classes. Clayton Wahlstrom came in as the No. 9 wrestler at 197 lbs., while Lukas Poloncic ranks No. 12 at 174 lbs.

The Vikings are coming off of a dual with No. 10 Minnesota State in which they fell 20-10. Poloncic headlined the dual for Augustana as he upset No. 4 Zach Johnston in a 7-3 decision. Wahlstrom grabbed a major decision against Dylan Butts with a 15-4 victory. Colin Ayers provided the Vikings with their third win of the match, taking an 8-5 decision over Daniel Close. 

Augustana continues their dual season on Saturday and Sunday when they travel to North Dakota to face U-Mary and Minot State. The full team dual rankings can be seen below.
