INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Sophomore
Taylor Beagle from the Augustana women's swimming team will make the trip to Indianapolis, Ind., for the NCAA Championships beginning on Wednesday, March 13.
The Lead, S.D. native, qualified for the "B" cut 1650 freestyle for the second straight season. The sophomore placed first in the event at the NSIC Championships last month with a meet and school record time of 17:02.46. The time broke her own record she set last year at the championships by just under six seconds and is listed as the 15th fastest time according to the psych sheet heading into the meet.
Beagle was also invited to compete in the 1000 free on Wednesday and the 500 free on Friday. Her time in the 1000 free of 10:21.55 is 32nd and her time in the 500 free of 5:01.88 is 48th according to the psych sheet heading into the meet.
