GENEVA, Oh. -- Senior Destini Oehlertz and junior Taylor Beagle will make the trip to Geneva, Ohio, for the NCAA Championships held at the SPIRE Institute-Aquatic Center Wednesday thru-Saturday.
Beagle, the NSIC Swimmer of the Year, became the first Viking to earn All-America honors after achieving the honor last season in the 1650-freestyle.
Oehlertz enters the meet with the 11th-fastest time in the 50-yard freestyle.
"I was fortunate enough to hit a top time mid-season." Oehlertz said. "My performance at mid-season helped take some pressure off and I was able to enjoy my final season.
"I'm excited to end my career at the NCAA championships. I look forward to competing one last time representing Augustana. Don't blink. Go Vikes!"
Beagle's 1000-yard freestyle is listed as the 17th fastest time while also holding the 19th-fastest time in the 1650-yard freestyle.
"I feel better for my mile at nationals than I did for conference." Beagle said. "By the end of the week at conference, you swim twice everyday and then relays on top of it." "It's a good way to teach your body how to compete when you're tired, which makes competing at nationals a little easier."
