BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Three players from the Augustana women's basketball team have been named to the NSIC All-Conference teams, the league announced Wednesday. Aislinn Duffy was selected to the first team, while Vishe' Rabb and Lauren Sees garnered second-team honors.
Duffy improved on last season's second-team accolade, being tabbed First Team All-Conference. The honor marks Sees second-straight season of making the second team while Rabb, the 2019 NSIC Freshman of the Year, earns the first all-conference team of her career.
Duffy, hailing from Rapid City, South Dakota, was a double-double machine for the Vikings this season having 10 double-doubles in conference play to lead the NSIC. Earlier this season, she had a career-high 28 points and 21 rebounds, one rebound shy of the single-game record. Duffy earned NSIC South Division Player of the Week honors on Feb. 7, averaging 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5.5 rebounds in a weekend sweep against Winona State and Upper Iowa. In the Winona State win, she neared a triple-double with a stat line of 17 points, 18 rebounds and seven assists. For the 19 game conference season, Duffy averaged 15.6 points and 10.6 rebounds.
Rabb, a native of Springfield, Minnesota, scored in double-figures 14 times this season with a season-high of 22 points. She also accounted for two double-doubles this season. On Jan. 17, Rabb earned her first NSIC South Division Player of the Week honor, averaging 19 points and nine rebounds in a weekend sweep over Minot State and UMary. For the NSIC season, Rabb averaged 13.4 per outing.Â
Sees, an Avon, South Dakota, native ranked second on the Vikings in scoring this season, averaging 15.2 points in NSIC play. She led AU in assists with 64 assists, an average of 3.34 per NSIC contest. She scored in double-figures in 17 games this season with a season-high of 24 points. Sees earned NSIC South Division Player of the Week honors on Jan. 3 after averaging 25.5 points through two games while shooting 62.9 percent from the field.
