SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--The Augustana wrestling team added another wrestler to its signing class on Wednesday. Coy Gunderson will enroll in the fall of 2022.

Reitmeier on Gunderson: "We are excited to announce Coy Gunderson will be joining our program next fall.  Coy checked all our boxes; excellent student, exceptional wrestler and high-moral compass. Coy comes in with a lot of state and national experience having wrestled year around. He is solid in all positions and wrestles at a high offensive pace. Looking forward to working with Coy this fall."

High School: Gunderson will graduate from Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg High School in June of 2022. He is a three-time section champion and is also a three-year team captain.

Personal: Coy is the son of Heidi and Mark. He has one sibling and enjoys hunting and fishing. While at Augustana, Gunderson plans to major in Exercise Science.
