SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--Augustana baseball hosts the UMary Marauders in an afternoon doubleheader on Tuesday. First pitch is slated for 1:30 p.m.

The Marauders

UMary holds a 9-11 record overall this season, and a 1-4 conference record after dropping two of the three games against Minnesota State last weekend. The Marauders have had two NSIC matchups, falling to Wayne State and Minnesota State to begin their conference play.

Calvin James leads the Marauders in both hits, with 29, and RBI with 32. James holds a batting average of .387 and has made the start in all 20 of UMary's games.

On the mound, Austin Wagner has pitched 27 innings, leading the Marauders with 34 strikeouts. Wagner's earned run average is 3.33.

The Vikings

Augustana is 17-4-1 overall and 7-1 in the NSIC. The Vikings defeated Minnesota Duluth and Bemidji State last weekend, going 5-0 against the conference opponents. In the doubleheader against UMD, Augustana totaled 23 runs. Against Bemidji State, AU tallied 45 runs and held BSU to just two runs.

Carter Howell is the leader in hits, runs and RBI for the Vikings. Howell has made the start in all 22 games that Augustana has played. Drey Dirksen led the Vikings last week with four home runs, six hits and 17 RBI.

Seth Miller and Tanner Brown both share 3-0 records. Brown struck out 17 batters in Augustana's 10-0 victory over Bemidji State on Saturday, breaking the career strikeout record and tying the single-game strikeout record. Brown's ERA is 1.72.
