SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--No. 15 Augustana baseball hosts the Wayne State Wildcats this weekend for a three-game series at Ronken Field. Friday is a single game beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday is scheduled for a 1 p.m. first pitch in the doubleheader.
An Easter Egg Hunt will follow Saturday's first game.

The Wildcats
Wayne State is 15-14 overall and 9-7 in conference action. Most recently, it traveled to Minnesota-Duluth for a weekday doubleheader, falling to the Bulldogs in game one, 2-8. In game two, the Wildcats took the 15-14 win.
Colin Lynam is the Wildcats' leader in hits with 37 and runs with 29. Lynam holds a .349 batting average and has made the start in all 29 games that Wayne State has played. Andrew Hanson has recorded 25 RBI for the Wildcats to find a spot at the top of the category for the team.
Andrew Staebell leads the Wildcats on the mound with 36 strikeouts. He has an ERA of 2.96 and holds a 3-0 record. Josh Renken also holds a 3-0 record and has logged nine strikeouts. Renken's ERA is 6.29 and he has appeared in 13 games for Wayne State.
The Vikings
Augustana enters the series with an overall record 27-6-1 this season and an NSIC record of 17-3. The Vikings defeated the Northern State Wolves on Tuesday at Ronken Field, earning the 6-0 shutout win in game one and a 10-2 victory in game two.
Thirteen players in the lineup have reached double digits in the hits category, with
Carter Howell leading the team with 47 hits. Howell's batting average is .395 and he has hit eight home runs this season.
Jordan Barth follows closely behind Howell with 42 hits and a .333 batting average.
Tanner Brown, Augustana's career strikeout leader, holds a record of 4-0 and leads the Vikings on the mound with 64 strikeouts. Brown's ERA is 1.37.
Ryan Jares has totaled 53 strikeouts, holds a 4-1 record and has an ERA of 2.43.
One Last Thing
Jordan Barth has recorded 60 doubles in his career in an Augustana uniform, just five shy of tying the career most doubles record.
