SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--Augustana wrestling added another wrestler to the 2021-22 signing class on Thursday. Ethan Lebrija will enroll in the fall of 2022.

Reitmeier on Lebrija: "We are really excited to welcome Ethan and his family to Augustana Wrestling! Sometimes you get lucky and I feel we got lucky with Ethan. We got a late start on him and it just worked out. Ethan is super athletic, a three-sport star. I don't know how high his wrestling ceiling is but he hasn't even tapped into it because of all the other extracurricular activities he is in. We are looking forward to getting him on campus and working with him. Ethan is also an exceptional student and fits right into our program." 

High School: Lebrija will graduate from Chokio-Alberta High School in May of 2022. He is a two-time state placewinner and led his team in takedowns for four years. Lebrija earned all-state accolades in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Ethan is the son of Brad and Amee. He has six siblings and enjoys hiking, camping, fishing and puzzles. While at Augustana, Lebrija plans to major in Physical Education and Special Education.
