SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The much anticipated Augustana Twilight is back Friday night. Known as one of the largest races in the region, the Augustana Twilight is held under the lights at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls with races beginning at 6 p.m.
 
Annually, the races attract more than 5,000 runners, coaches and fans. Teams from NCAA Division I to high school junior varsity teams participate in the event, with each year seemingly drawing a new record for participants.
 
Along with the races, the Twilight also satisfies hunger needs with food vendors from Harry's Yellow Submarine, Backyard BBQ and Taqueria Juanita.
 
Last year, both the Viking men's and women's teams placed runner-up to a Division I foe. In addition, Ryan Hartman won the men's race by more than 13 seconds. Both teams used the event as a springboard to capture NSIC and Central Region Championships.
 
Key Information

• Admission to park for the event is $10 per vehicle
• The only entrance for the event is through the 57^th street entrance to Yankton Trail Park, westbound lanes only. There will be no left turn into Yankton Trail Park.
• Fans are encouraged to arrive early to provide ample time for parking and to enjoy the festivities of the event

8:30 p.m. - College Women 5K
