SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana swimming & diving women's 200 medley relay team picked up an event victory Saturday to lead the way on the second day of the Coyote Extravaganza inside the Midco Aquatic Center.

The second day of the two-day event split scores into dual meets with a trio of Division I foes and a tri of Division II schools, including Augustana. The Viking women did not fall to a Division II opponent all weekend.

In the Fast Lane
- The relay team of Bryn Greenwaldt, Nesrine Jelliti, Angelina Chan and Meesha Montgomery opened the meet with a victory in the 200 medley. The Vikings clicked in with a time of 1:44.94 to claim victory.
- Greenwaldt picked up a podium finish in the 100 free as she timed in at 53.56 as the top DII competitor in the event.
- Jelliti earned a silver medal in the 200 breaststroke with her time of 2:26.66, also proving to be the top DII competitor.
- Meesha Montgomery also had a strong showing in the 200 IM, posting a time of 2:13.02.
- Steven Asmus placed fourth in the 500 free with a time of 4:57.04.
- Will Kotalik placed fifth in the mile swim, timing in at 17:13.11.

Off the Boards
- Avery Lommel led the Viking women's divers on the 3M dive as she totaled 232.45 points,
- On the men's 1M dive, David Binsfeld totaled 220 points in a third place finish.

Up Next
Augustana will begin four-straight days of competition on Nov. 15 beginning with the USD Long Course. The following day, the Augie Invite begins running Nov. 16-18. Both events take place at Midco Aquatic Center.
