SIOUX FALLS, S.D.-- The Augustana women's swimming & diving squad competed at the USF Last Chance Meet on Saturday collecting two event wins.
The recently coined NSIC Swimmer of the Year, Bryn Greenwaldt, won the 100 free with a time of 51.01 collecting another NCAA "B" standard time. Nathalia Silva won the second event for AU today in the 200 back. Silva won the race in a time of 2:04.56.
Augustana not only saw success from Greenwaldt in the 100 free, three additional Vikings filled the top-four placements. Meesha Montgomery collected a second place finish with a time of 51.23 to also garner an NCAA "B" cut time. Kamryn Robarge recorded a third place finish in a time of 52.64, while Amaya Street received fourth place in a time of 52.95.
Meesha Montgomery, Makoa Montgomery and Robarge saw top-six finishes in the 50 free. Meesha Montgomery garnered a third-place finish in a time of 23.66 while Robarge was shortly behind in fourth with a time of 23.70. Makoa Montgomery collected a six place finish in a time of 23.82. All three recorded NCAA "B" cut times.
Nesrine Jelliti found a third place finish in the 100 breaststroke touching the wall with a final time of 1:04.44. While Angelina Chan grabbed hold of fourth place in the 100 fly with a time of 58.18.
