SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Augustana women's basketball team had four of its student-athletes selected by College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) to the 2022-23 Academic All-District team. The honorees are

Michaela Jewett,
Johanna Miller and
Aby Phipps.
Jennifer Aadland
- Has started all 28 games for the Vikings
- Averages 9.7 points per game
- Shoots 52.7 percent from the field and 46.4 percent from 3-point range
Michaela Jewett
- Opened the season with a career-high 23 points in win over No. 3 team in nation
- Has since eclipsed that with a 29-point performance in win over Wayne State
- Averaged 12.4 points per game for regular season
Johanna Miller
- Has seen action in 25 games including a start
- Has tallied 57 points and 39 rebounds
- Shoots 50 percent from the field and is 2-of-2 from 3-point range
Aby Phips
- Has played in all 28 games, averaging 19.3 minutes per game
- Averages 8.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per outing
- Scored a career-high 21 points at Concordia-St. Paul on Dec. 10
The 2022 Academic All-District® Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All‐District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All‐America® ballot. First‐, second and third‐team Academic All‐ America® honorees will be announced in mid‐March.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All‐America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022‐23 Divisions II and III Academic All‐ America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All‐America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
